Richter Scale 7.6 is a film whose story revolves around the lives of a father and son, and narrates the agonies and struggles the duo goes through when they decide not to relocate when faced with replacement. The film is directed by debutant director Jeeva KJ. The film also won the Best Newcomer Award at the Noida International Film Festival. The film is produced by Sajith Kumar CD and Shaji GS under the banner of FNC Productions. This Malayalam film is now streaming on Neestream.

Every character in the film breaks down the beauty concepts of Malayalam cinema. The film stars Ashok Kumar Peringode, Murugan Martin, Achuthan Changoor, Arun Micheal, Kripa Daniel, Bini YP, Rupesh Kumar, Dr. Kiran, Devadas and KK Pavithran in the lead roles.

Jeeva has been enchanted by movies all her life. With no background in filmmaking, Jeeva was always occupied with the thoughts of movies, even when she was pursuing her studies. She finally decided to quit her job last year and plunge into her passion. This 72-minute long movie was a result of 50 crew members working day and night in a mining area. Capturing the emotional struggles faced by the father-son pair, a large part of the movie has been shot inside the hut.
