Bajaj Finserv Announces 6th Edition Of Bajaj Pune Marathon 2025

The Bajaj Pune Marathon, one of India’s most anticipated city runs, is returning for its sixth edition on December 14, promising to be larger, more inclusive and inspiring than ever before.

An initiative by Bajaj Finserv Ltd, one of India’s largest and most diversified financial services groups, this year’s event brings together thousands of runners, from elite international athletes to everyday fitness enthusiasts and corporate leaders, under the unifying belief ‘You Too Can Fly’.

Leading this spirit of aspiration and resilience are two of the most celebrated names in world athletics – Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, the Jamaican sprint legend and the most decorated 100-meter sprinter with 17 World Championship medals and 8 Olympic medals, and Noah Lyles, the American Olympic and World Champion sprinter who is currently the World’s Fastest Man. As ambassadors for the marathon, both athletes embody excellence, perseverance and the transformative power of sport.

Now in its sixth year, Bajaj Pune Marathon has grown in stature and significance. It started in 2018 as a Half Marathon race (21.1 km). This year, the race has been extended to a full marathon of 42.2 km. This year’s edition features multiple race categories including the Full Marathon of 42.2 km, Half Marathon of 21.1 km, 10 km race, 5 km timed race – ensuring inclusivity with participation across ages and abilities.
