Langoor Digital unlocks authentic branding identity for HerKey
HerKey (formerly JobsForHer) transformed into a career engagement platform that unlocks opportunities, learning, and communities for women in India by connecting them with career champions.
Driving the rebranding exercise was the team at Langoor Digital, one of India’s top digital marketing transformation agencies. The renewed brand identity features not just a new name and logo, but a new design direction as well. Developed to capture and celebrate HerKey’s philosophy of helping women move ‘onwards and upwards’ in the workforce, the new brand identity is a coming together of women empowerment and collaboration.
Formerly known as JobsForHer, HerKey has transformed into a career engagement platform that unlocks opportunities, learning, and communities for women in India by connecting them with career champions. The platform seeks to address the gender gap in the Indian workforce, where only 20% of women participate in the labor force, compared to 60% in China and 55% in the United States. The company started by enabling women to restart their careers after a break, and it has grown to enable women to start, restart and rise in their careers. Under Neha’s leadership, HerKey has grown to service over 3.5 million women across India and plans to scale to power 30 million women’s careers in India.
Speaking about the new identity, Neha Bagaria, Founder & CEO of HerKey, says, “HerKey aims to be a companion for women in their diverse career journeys. We’ve built Herkey as a career engagement platform that offers not only job opportunities, but also focuses on the entire career lifecycle by offering learning, opportunities and communities. For the brand design and visual architecture we chose to work with Langoor Digital. What they brought to the table was a design that was not just simple and insightful but inspiring as well. We couldn’t be happier with the new identity they have created for the company and how it manifests into our deeper offerings while marrying the strengths of the previous JobsForHer platform and it’s audience of 3.5 million women.“
With over 22 years of branding experience in mainline and digital advertising, Ferzad Variyava, Langoor’s Chief Creative Officer, believes, “Every new brand’s design deserves to benefit from the maxim Steve Jobs lived by and that is ‘Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication’. Simplicity in design also flows from the sharpness of the brand’s proposition which we took special care in building from the ground up.”
