Virgin Atlantic is celebrating India’s 70th Independence Day by offering its customers incredible savings during a 70-hour sale, and providing space available upgrades to passengers celebrating their birthday on 15th August.
The special Independence Day sale launched today (9th August) and runs until 11th August with travel valid up to 31 March 2018. Passengers planning a trip to the UK this festive season can enjoy a discount of 30% on return flights in Economy, Premium Economy or Upper Class cabins.
Customers already travelling with Virgin Atlantic this Independence Day are also in for a treat. The airline has arranged Indian sweets for all passengers, and will offer space available upgrades to customers travelling to London and celebrating their birthday on August 15th.
Celebrating this occasion, Mr. Nick Parker, Head of India at Virgin Atlantic, said: “As India marks this important 70th Independence Day, we are offering our customers a special discounted air fare to help plan their next trip. Customers travelling on August 15th and celebrating a birthday are also in for a special surprise – if there is a space seat, we will upgrade them to the next cabin free of charge.”
